HSE Analytics is an independent applied research and analytics organization specializing in the measurement and modeling of environmental performance, liability, emissions, and risk across Canada’s upstream oil and gas system. HSE supports governments, regulators, industry associations, and Indigenous organizations with evidence-based analysis to inform regulatory design, policy development, and system-level decision-making.

HSE welcomes engagement from governments, regulators, Indigenous organizations, industry associations, and research partners seeking independent, evidence-based analysis related to environmental performance, liability, emissions, cumulative effects, and long-horizon obligations.
Engagements are structured to support regulatory design, policy development, program evaluation, and system-level risk assessment.
